Parcel Typologies

General

The base parcel typology implies what sides of a parcel participate when placing buildings. What this means in practice is that any of the dash-dotted lines in the above image may contain any amount of buildings to any extent, as long as it contains at least one building body.

Base parcel typologies

Building Configurations

The same parcel typology can be configured with different building typologies. They would still be considered the same base parcel typology, however they are regarded as unique building configurations. More on our building typologies here.

Same parcel typology - Different building configurations

Technical

To reach key metrics such as FAR and SCR each building configuration is evaluated individually, for each individual parcel, to find the optimum solution.

Base Configurations: ≥500 x Mirrored Versions: 2 x Rotations: ≥4 = To Evaluate/Parcel: ≥4000

Typology Growth

Additional sides to the parcel will expand the typology either on non-built or built sides.

The same parcel typology is defined for parcels with more sides than the minimum required.

Additional Typologies

The number of base typologies increases for parcels with more sides than 4.

As the number of parcel sides grows - so does the number of base typologies

Examples of Parcel Configurations

The number of base typologies increases for parcels with more sides than 4.
