Parking Tool
The Parking Tool is used to define static parking areas. Except for underground parking, these areas are not considered "generative," meaning no buildings will be placed upon them.
- Functionality: All parking typologies are drawn as polygons. Multi-storey parking is extruded based on the number of floors specified in the property panel.
- Area per Spot: Users can define the area per parking spot, which should include the spot itself plus access roads and ramps. (Note: Ramps typically increase the required area per spot for underground and multi-storey facilities).
- Algorithm: During generation, the algorithm subtracts these manual spots from the desired parking norm (spots per unit) and adjusts the generated parking accordingly.
